Born in Argentina, Gabriel was trained by his father, a jazz and latin drummer in 1960s Argentina. He provided a strong education based on old records and an attention to vintage drum playing and sound. With a solid foundation in Latin music, paired with a classical orchestral education for fourteen years, Gabriel is a diverse and dinamic drummer who brings a vintage flavor to his drumming.
Gabriel Aisenman was the resident drummer/percussionist at Onyx Studios in Rosh Pina (Israel) for 11 years, having recorded over twenty albums with various artists of all styles. His fluency and comfort as a session musician and arranger brings forth an inspiring environment of creation with all his collaboraters. His playing can be heard in numerous ensembles and productions including Jiharka, , Tomas Witham, Allan Moon. He has also recorded with international artists including American jazz vocalist Jennifer Sanon. His playing in the song "Ba Min HaShtika" by Koby Aflalo won Israel's Gold Song of the Year 2006.
Since 2008 Gabriel is working as independent drummer/percussionist and participant
on private projects in Europe and south America.
Gabriel's speciality as a percussionist is in his foundational connection with world music, performing Flamenco, Middle Eastern, Balkan.
His unique instruments include the Udo, Cajon, Bombo, Frame Drum, Congas, Bongos, and all the atmospheric percussion instruments.
Today Gabriel is the percussionist of " CURAWAKA " a world wide known band and played the last europe tour 2021.
